What a show!

The AGWC Opening Ceremony was a major success.

Despite some rain interrupting setup and final checks during the day, the team pulled together, protected the equipment, kept everything safe and dry, and delivered a seamless production once the skies cleared.

With our d&b audiotechnik audio system and Midas HD96 control, Shure RF systems, Robe lighting, and support from Ultra Events with the staging, structure and LED wall, it was a true display of the highest quality show equipment and an exemplary team effort from start to finish.

The incredible Ndlovu Youth Choir delivered a world-class performance, bringing energy, passion, and unforgettable talent to the stage. It was an honour to provide the technical production behind such an inspiring performance.

We're proud to have played an important role in helping the Cape Town Marathon continue its journey toward becoming one of the world's Marathon Majors.

Thank you to everyone involved for making it such a memorable event. We look forward to the next one!

Kicking off race week for the Sanlam Cape Town Marathon weekend!

We’re proud to be supporting the AbbottWMM Marathon Tours & Travel Age Group World Championship (AGWC) Opening Concert at DHL Stadium, Green Point, Cape Town.

This is an official, accredited opening event for athletes, officials, and invited guests as part of the championship programme.
The evening features a live performance by the world-famous Ndlovu Youth Choir, setting the tone for a world-class celebration of marathon running in Cape Town.

This week, the Golden Circle team is proud to be supporting the 21st annual Izmeni Soznanie Conference, a major international conference bringing together leaders from across the global advertising and media industry.

Spanning multiple venues and running across several days, the event includes two full days of conference sessions hosted at the Baxter Theatre, as well as three evening events taking place at Vergelegen Wine Estate, Cape Point Vineyards, and Cabo Beach Club and Bar.

This project involves extensive technical installations, detailed planning, and coordinated setups to support a full programme across all locations.

With a significant portion of our gear in operation and the support of a skilled freelance crew, this is a true team effort - where logistics, communication, and precision are key to delivering a seamless experience.

Over the next few days, we’ll be sharing a closer look at the different venues and setups that make this event come together.

What an incredible night at the Castle for KISS KISS!

Massive thanks to our entire crew who pulled together to make this one happen. Your hard work and dedication never go unnoticed.

A big shoutout as well to the amazing local South African bands and DJs who brought the heat and set the tone for an unforgettable night.

Basement Jaxx were absolutely out of this world, delivering a set that had the crowd moving from start to finish. The energy was unreal, the vibes were electric, and the dancefloor was pumping all night long.
From the music to the atmosphere, everything just came together perfectly. One for the books!

Cape Town, you never disappoint 🌤️🌧️

After a full-on week of building in scorching heat, followed by a bit of rain rolling in last night… we’re ready to do it all again today at the Castle of Good Hope.

We’re running a very similar technical setup to last week - dialled, refined, and ready to deliver from the first beat:

• Pioneer – CDJs & DJ mixers
• Midas – FOH / monitor mixing consoles
• MA Lighting – lighting control (grandMA)
• Robe – moving head fixtures

It’s been a big week in Cape Town!

With the Two Oceans Marathon underway, Golden Circle has been working alongside Beanstalk to deliver a series of Nike pop-up activations across the city.
Yesterday, we brought two activation spaces to life:
• Harrington Street - transforming an empty parking lot into a fully realised experience
• Le Pickle - bringing the energy into one of the area’s favourite burger spots

Wrapping up a solid weekend at the JDoT experience in Cape Town.

Full technical delivery across sound, lighting, backline and crew - ensuring consistent coverage and performance across all areas of the event. Our audio systems delivered clean, high-impact sound throughout, while lighting added the necessary energy and atmosphere to carry the experience from day into night.

Friday brought some challenging weather conditions, but the team moved quickly to secure all equipment and maintain continuity on site - a testament to proper planning, teamwork, and experience under pressure.

A big thank you to the entire crew for the long hours, attention to detail, and commitment to getting it right.

Shoutout as well to our collaborators who supported the staging and LED elements on this one.

Great to see such an engaged and energetic crowd across the weekend - always the ultimate measure.

Proud to have been part of it, and we look forward to more with Jameson and the Castle of Good Hope.

This weekend we’re proud to be delivering full technical production at the Castle of Good Hope for the Jameson Distillery On Tour CPT experience.

From sound, lighting, backline, and crew, the team is gearing up for a solid build in one of Cape Town’s most iconic venues.

With additional support on structures and LED from Ultra, it’s all coming together for a great weekend ahead.
