Job Vacancy: Network Technician - Fiber Optics Specialist

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Network Technician with expertise in fiber optics technology, specifically Fiber to the Home (FTTH) installations. As a Fiber Optics Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our fiber optic network infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

* Install, terminate, and splice fiber optic cables in various environments, including residential and commercial settings.

* Perform network testing, commissioning, and optimization to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

* Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to fiber optic connectivity, including signal loss, attenuation, and dispersion.

* Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine the feasibility of fiber optic installations.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate network deployments and upgrades.

* Document network configurations, cable layouts, and maintenance procedures accurately.

* Adhere to industry standards and best practices for fiber optic installations and maintenance.

* Utilize Radius Server Manager/User Manager, Winbox, The Dude, Mikrotik, and Ubiquiti for network management and configuration tasks.
