Loved by drummers worldwide since 1995, the Yamaha Stage Custom Birch series continues to set the standard for performance, durability and sound quality. Constructed from 100% birch using a six-ply shell design, these drums produce a focused, articulate tone with quick attack and controlled sustain—ideal for live gigs, studio recording and rehearsal environments.
The hand-lacquered finish highlights the natural grain of the birch wood, giving each kit a unique, premium appearance normally reserved for high-end Yamaha drum sets. Advanced hardware such as the patented Y.E.S.S. tom mounting system ensures minimal shell contact, allowing the drums to resonate freely while maintaining rock-solid stability.
Paired with the HW780 hardware pack, this 5-piece kit delivers professional reliability straight out of the box. Lightweight yet sturdy, the hardware is designed for touring, frequent setup and long-term performance without compromise.
