Today, we’re wearing black in solidarity with women across South Africa.

The recent killings of women in Gauteng have once again brought the devastating reality of violence against women into focus. Families are grieving. Communities are afraid. And women across the country are being reminded of a reality they should never have to live with: fear for their safety simply because they are women.

At Baker Baynes, we believe standing with women means more than celebrating women. It means standing against violence, abuse and fear, and supporting a future where every woman can live, work, travel, exercise and return home safely.

Today, our team is wearing black in solidarity. Baker Baynes is also donating R10 000 to POWA (People Opposing Women Abuse) to support their work with women affected by abuse and gender-based violence. We stand with the women who have lost their lives, their families and loved ones, and every woman for whom safety cannot be taken for granted.
