Certified FTTX ISP Project Specialist Training
6-8 June 2022, Johannesburg
The Fibre Lab, in partnership with Tera Fibre, presents our Certified FTTX ISP Project Specialist Course. This course's primary focus is to provide in-depth knowledge on the deployment process of the optical communication network in a client's premises. The course will provide best practices on the full layout, as well as training on how to construct a telecommunication network into the client's premises that will include ISP and FTTX infrastructure build. The hands-on practical training will include cable trays, wall mounted cabinets, budi box and more. Contact us for a full course brochure!

This course provides learners with comprehensive coverage of the best practices for the deployment of optical fibre aerial cables in close proximity to power lines, such as on shared poles, or other infrastructure also carrying electricity. It includes the following detailed modules:
Module 1: Safe working procedure on shared pole route;
Module 2: Site preparation;
Module 3: Shared pole routes (build process);
Module 4: Construction of new aerial fibre routes.
Practical training includes: Erecting aerial fibre cable, safe working clearance on power lines, ladder safety and more.
