Take Note Group is looking for mature, highly disciplined control room and security professionals to join our evolving Tier-1 Technology Intervention Center. Moving beyond traditional monitoring, the role combines AI video analytics, live telemetry, smart tracking, and real-time dispatch to direct ground teams and manage live incidents with precision.

Candidates must be comfortable operating in a high-pressure, technology-first control room environment and demonstrate strong judgement, emotional maturity, and composure when managing live incidents.

Requirements:
• Matric Certificate
• Valid PSIRA Grade C accreditation with an immaculate record
• 3+ years’ experience in high-stakes control room operations, including armed response, CIT, or high-risk security dispatch
• Proven proficiency with modern VMS systems, radio networks, and dispatch software
• Strong situational and spatial awareness, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
• High emotional maturity, discipline, and a strong commitment to operational and security protocols

Key responsibilities include monitoring and responding to live incidents, leveraging AI-enabled video analytics and telemetry, coordinating ground teams through radio and dispatch systems, tracking incidents in real time, and maintaining accurate operational records and escalation procedures.

WE’RE HIRING: SCADA Engineer / Technician

Take Note Group is looking for a skilled, high-performing SCADA Engineer / Technician to drive the design, commissioning, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of our industrial control systems. We maintain a demanding, high-performance culture that values technical excellence while genuinely backing and developing our people.

📍 Location: Gauteng

Candidates must be comfortable working across office, control room, and plant/field environments, including standby availability.

Requirements: • National Diploma, BEng, or BTech in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic, or Control Systems Engineering (or equivalent)

• 3–5+ years’ practical experience in SCADA, PLC, and HMI systems

• Proven hands-on experience with major SCADA/PLC platforms (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider, Ignition, Wonderware)

• Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus/Profinet, OPC UA, Ethernet/IP)

• Solid knowledge of industrial network architecture and cybersecurity principles (IEC 62443 advantageous)

• Sharp diagnostic mindset, resilience under pressure, and a strong commitment to plant safety and compliance

Key responsibilities include root-cause fault investigation across SCADA/PLC networks, configuring and commissioning control systems and field devices, executing preventative maintenance, and maintaining rigorous technical documentation, SOPs, and system architecture records.
