A recent design created for Perfect Laser Technologies to support their quotation process.

The banner was designed to introduce customers to SK, promote the Johannesburg Mega Store, highlight PLT’s range of machines and showrooms, and drive viewers directly to the supporting video via QR code.

For the September 2026 Sign Africa in Johannesburg, Rule 9 had the opportunity to design the branding for Perfect Laser Technologies' custom-built hexagonal exhibition stand.

From the overhead promotional signage to the branded counter panels, our focus was on creating a cohesive, high-impact visual presence that showcased the Perfect Laser and PerfectColour brands from multiple angles.

The result? A bold, recognisable exhibition space designed to attract attention in a busy expo environment.

Sports campaign artwork with a serious amount of detail behind it.
For this project, Rule 9 developed a high-impact commemorative rugby poster combining custom layout design, typography, extensive image manipulation, retouching and AI-assisted image development to create a cohesive final composition.

The project also included a second production variation incorporating client branding, branch information and the machine used to produce the finished piece.

From concept through to final artwork, the focus was on creating something that felt bold, collectible and professionally finished.

The brief was to create bold, highly visible wayfinding signage that could guide customers clearly from both directions while staying aligned with the existing Racking & Packing brand.

We developed two directional variations and visualised each design in context before final production.

A new identity starting to take shape.

This custom logo icon was created for Signal Slice, an up-and-coming film production studio currently building out its visual brand.

The brief called for something bold, memorable and a little unconventional, combining the idea of a pizza slice with video and film in a way that feels playful without losing its edge.

This is just the first piece of the puzzle, with another exciting project already in the works for Signal Slice.
