Security Training Is Not a One-Off Webinar
A single cybersecurity presentation can be helpful, but good security awareness is more like brushing your teeth than buying a toothbrush. It works best when it becomes a regular habit. Threats change, scams become more convincing, and new staff members join with no way of knowing that an email titled “Payroll Update” may be more dramatic than it sounds.
Use Cybersecurity Awareness Month as a launchpad for short, practical conversations. Share one phishing example each week. Remind staff how to report something suspicious. Run a simple refresher on safe password habits, MFA, and payment verification. Keep the tone approachable and blame-free, because people are far more likely to report an error quickly when they do not expect a public performance review in the kitchen.
The Way Forward IT can support your security efforts with solutions that help protect email, devices, and business systems while your team builds stronger everyday habits.
