Requirements
• Valid Driver’s License and Own Reliable Transport (Compulsory)
• Fully Bi-Lingual (Afrikaans \ English) - Excellent written and spoken communication
• Well presented, professional and confident with strong people skills.
• Contactable references.
• No Criminal Record and clean credit check.
• Team player
• Must be well organised, have good oral and written communication skills, leadership skills and a commitment to customer service.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal direction.
• Ability to handle confidential matters, set priorities, work well under pressure with attention to detail.
• Eager to learn and grow within a company
• Must be organised and diligent, ability to manage yourself is key

Qualifications

We require a suitable candidate to fill the position of an IT Technician in Johannesburg. The candidate must meet the following minimum requirements:
• Matriculation (Compulsory)
• MCSE or equivalent diploma (Compulsory) MCP (Advantage)
• A+ and N+ (Advantage)

Experience Required
• Minimum 3-5 years' (Desktop & Server Support) experience in IT technical support in an IT company
• Desktop Hardware, Software (Microsoft Products) and Windows operating systems. Peripheral installations and fault diagnosis
• Windows 7, Windows 8, Server 2003, Server 2008, Server 2012, Server 2016, Server 2019
• Knowledge of O365 Product offering, self-navigation on portal)
• Knowledge of LAN cabling and topology (Ethernet)
• Work experience as a Desktop / Server & LAN field technician
• Advanced network setup & diagnostics
• Good understanding and experience with DHCP, DNS, Subnets, NAT, VPN and Remote Connections
• Email setups and protocols
• Wireless networking
• Hardware diagnostics
• Windows Server, Azure \ Hosted Servers
• Active Directory
• Thorough understanding of Windows platform, especially diagnositics and fault-finding
• Firewalls
