Did you know that stormwater drains are not connected to treatment systems? Everything that goes into them flows directly into our rivers and oceans.
That means litter, chemicals, and waste dumped into drains end up polluting the very waters we’re trying to protect. 🌊
As part of the campaign, we’re raising awareness about how everyday actions — from what we flush to what we throw in drains — have a direct impact on our environment.
🚽 Remember: Only flush the 3 P’s — P*e, Poo and (toilet) Paper
🌧️ And only rain belongs in the drain
