Every publication has a story before the story.

It begins with an idea, grows through research, finds its voice in carefully crafted words, and comes to life through thoughtful design. Since 1997, JSES has partnered with universities, organisations, and businesses to create publications that inform, inspire, and leave a lasting impression.

Whether you're developing a magazine, newsletter, corporate report, company profile, or brochure, we provide bespoke publication support from concept to completion.

Every page has a purpose. Every publication has a voice.

Let’s create something remarkable together!

Some words are meant to be spoken. Others are meant to be sung. And the ones that truly matter are written to last.
Books preserve ideas, music stirs the soul, and every great publication leaves its own quiet echo. At JSES, we believe knowledge deserves more than a page - it deserves a voice, a rhythm and an audience.

Here's to the writers, the researchers, the dreamers and the readers who keep the melody of learning alive.

In celebration of National Science Month and in anticipation of Women’s Month, we look back at one of our recent publications, “20 Years of Inspiring South African Women in Science”, published in 2024 to commemorate two decades of the South African Women in Science Award of the Department of Science, Innovation and Technology. Our involvement included interviewing 40 of these remarkable women recipients, writing up their research journeys, as well as the layout and printing of the publication as a coffee-table book.
