Why do you write? They ask

WHY I WRITE

Why I write I know not
My writings isnt all me
Its a pour from my spirit
Possessing my pen to flood my sheets

Its a connection of my heart
To the unreal world of imaginative reality
Its my mental faculty connection
To the mind of insane creativity

My writing isnt a gift,just gift!
But a message of divinity to humanity
My pen speaketh mysteries,yet obvious
My inks carrys the presence of the supernatural
My thoughts is a weapon weigde from creativity
My sheets willing and ready to bear my message
HOW THEN CAN I COMPREHEND?

Writing got me all
I woke and found myself on a throne
Crowned king of words and mystery
In a world that controls humanity and reality
As my subject, I authorise the future
As my right hand, I determine the next

All in the capacity of my words
Is life bowing submissely at my throne
HOW THEN CAN THE WORLD COMPREND?

I write for the everlasting unknown
I write to pacify the troubled
I write to assure life
I write for humanity

Continue inking,

Be simple and ordinary

Dear writers:
Stop using big words and jagons
Stop conniving with dictionaries,
To search and code bombastic words,
To confuse and convince readers,
Just be simple and ordinary

Dear writers:
Not so simple to be a poet,
Not so ordinary to be a writer,
Yet we write for simple and ordinary people.
Be who your readers are! simple

Dear writers:
If you are doing it for fame,
Or to charm ladies into bed,
You are doing it for wrong reasons,
For, it's to inform and formulate thoughts.
Love it more than a desire to be loved

Dear writer:
Write to inform the misinformed.
Write to educated the uneducated.

WHERE HAVE WE LOST UBUNTU?
Where did we leave our humanity?

Consciously or unconsciously ,
Willingly or unwilling,
Many at times, people becomes animals,
Cold blooded carnivores without Ubuntu,
Coercesed into inhumanity by love for materials,
Yes, forced into hateism and enviousms by fear,
The cold phobia of being defeated/dominated.
This is, but a chronic illness of man.

The killing of foreigners by locals,
Xenophobia.
The killing and rapping of women & children,
Gender Based Violence.
The hypocrisy of racism and tribalism,
Nationalism
The selfishness nature of culture or tradition,
One that forces teen girls into marriages of shame,
Or young lads are taught of polygamy rather than politeness,
Bad culture

These are all signs and symptoms of inhumanity,
They are all equal to the problem,
None of them is better than the other,
They are perpetrated by man on man,
Why would women hate women?
If indeed we are humans,
Why would human hate human?

Today, 16 June is a commemorative day. DESHABA MEDIA would like to say Happy Youth Day to South Africans. This day is reminiscent of the fact that:To be young is not a mere status of age, but a generational obligation to be alive, active, vibrant and bold in our action.

Today, Sunday, the 10th of May
We celebrate mother's day.

If you want to known,
And you ask us why we celebrate?
Mothers are teachers, by default,
Mothers are true friends, by default,
Mothers are good shepherds, by default,
Mothers are everything,
They are nurses, councillors and coaches,
With them, there is love and comfort,
Without them, disorder will rule and rain lives.

By this, we say: HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY
