20 YEARS OF MOLEKO PRINTERS 🎉Today, Moleko Printers celebrates 20 years in business. Our story started in 2006, when Conrad began printing from his father’s garage with a single Riso RZ and one black drum. Within months, demand had grown beyond what one machine could handle. A second Riso followed, this time with black and red drums. In one three-month period alone, more than 10,000 A5 and A4 pads and 5,000 clinical sheet folders were produced and delivered. That growth led to our first GTO 1-colour press and a Heidelberg Platen, purchased from Robbie at Wilro Engineering. Both machines are still part of Moleko Printers today. About three months later, a Heidelberg MO followed. From there, the business continued to grow. We entered the NCR market with a team of only four people, including Conrad’s retired father, who brought with him 38 years of printing experience from Global Printers. As demand for colour printing increased, a Heidelberg GTO 4-colour press and Digital equipment became the next step. There was no overnight success. It was one machine, one customer and one job at a time. Most of our growth came through word of mouth, with customers recommending Moleko because of the quality and service they received. Every year the company became a little bigger, a little stronger and more capable, eventually leading to the purchase of our own building and the move into our current premises. Today, Moleko Printers has grown into a full-service print production house, offering litho printing, digital printing, wide-format printing, signage, packaging, labels, NCR books, booklets, calendars, embroidery, DTF, finishing and much more. From a single Riso in a garage to a complete production facility, the journey has been incredible. The four logos in this post represent different chapters of that journey, from where we started to the Moleko Printers we know today.20 years later, the equipment has changed, the technology has changed and the company has grown, but the principle remains the same: produce quality work and look after the customer.
