🌍 Who were they?

1. AmaHlubi: Displaced during the Mfecane, they settled in the Eastern Cape seeking refuge.

2. AmaBhaca: United under Madzikane ka Khalimeshe, they journeyed from the Pongola region to find new beginnings.

3. AmaBomvana: Close kin to the Xhosa, they settled along the Wild Coast, blending cultures over time.

4. AbaThembu: Indigenous to the Eastern Cape, they absorbed many displaced clans and built strong leadership.

5. AmaMfengu: Known for embracing Christianity and education, they were welcomed by King Hintsa after fleeing turmoil.
