How do the shops at 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗿𝗲 actually take people on? 👋 Here is the honest answer.

Every shop here runs on its people, and every manager will tell you the same thing: the best staff walked in, asked, and came back the next day.

There is no central list and nothing to send us online. The stores hire on their own terms, when they need to. What you can do is come through, dress like you mean it, and ask the manager of the shop you would like to work in whether they are taking anyone on.

Enquire in store, in person. That is the only way it works here.

The cold is not done with us yet, and the kitchen is the first line of defence. 🍊

Chicken pieces rubbed with salt and pepper, into the oven while you change out of your work clothes. Eggs, tomato and toast, which is a real supper on a Wednesday no matter what anybody says.

All of it sits in three aisles at 𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗣𝗔𝗥 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗼𝗻, so the stop on the way home stays a stop, and not a second shopping trip.

There is a teller at 𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗣𝗔𝗥 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗼𝗻 who knows your bread before you put it on the counter. 💚

That is not a training manual. That is years of the same faces coming through the same doors. The gogo who buys her loaf and her tin of coffee. The dad with the two-litre milk and the packet of biscuits for the lunchboxes. The young man who comes in after the taxi with exactly what he needs and nothing more.

Our tellers see it all, and they remember. A greeting by name, the bag packed the way you like it, the small talk that makes the queue go quicker.

Supermarkets are everywhere. A till where someone knows your order is rarer than you think.
