MultiChoice Group is considering a major shake-up!

In response to losing 1.2 million DStv subscribers this past year, they’re fast-tracking plans to potentially unbundle SuperSport from DStv packages. What does this mean?

You might soon be able to subscribe to DStv without SuperSport, and only bolt-on the sports you actually want, whether it’s rugby, soccer, or all of the above.

This model, already popular overseas, could give you more flexibility, especially if you’re juggling tech costs at home or in your business.

And in case you're wondering, SuperSport will stay exclusive to DStv, with no plans to share with other platforms.

Plus: A pilot project offering weekly DStv bundles is being tested in Uganda, with possible rollout to SA if successful.

Now that’s the kind of flexibility we like to see in 2025.
