AudioControl EPIC Series on the D’Amore AD-1 | Deeper Test

Our EPICFOUR Amp Dyno video generated plenty of discussion—especially around channel loading, test frequency and how the results were presented. Those were fair questions.

So today, we’re testing the AudioControl EPICFOUR again and this time we’re making every part of the setup clear: the voltage, frequency, impedance, channels being loaded and the Dyno test mode.”

We put the new AudioControl EPICFOUR 4-Channel Amplifier on the D’Amore AD-1 Amp Dyno… and let’s just say, the spec sheet didn’t tell the full story.

Rated at 4 x 100W @ 4 ohms, but when D'Amore Engineering's AD-1 started measuring, the numbers got very interesting.

We tested it per channel, bridged, and under real dyno conditions to see what this compact 800W RMS amplifier is really capable of.
