Good morning fellow computer friends, its been a while since our last post as we were bracing for the difficult times ahead. On another note, for the folks who tried to visit the DMI website, we apologize for the inconvenience as it was down for some time. Our site was unfortunately maliciously attacked by a virus known as the mado virus. A very dangerous computer virus that encrypts all known files on the system and that changes the file extension in an unrecoverable way. Unfortunately, these viruses bypass certain firewalls and antivirus software and is extremely difficult to trace and decrypt. The automated attack works as follows: It starts with a few pings to a computer IP address or server. It then slowly progresses to may pings and then when pe*******on happens your computer or server becomes sluggish and you will notice the computer or server is being overloaded and crashes due to buffer flooding and/or excessive heat generated in your system. This virus uses your entire system resource at most. My fellow computer friends, we at DMI can not stress enough how important antivirus software and good firewalls on your pc and laptops are. These malicious code is real and its out there and is destroying many businesses and servers. Hackers are are also real and they creating these codes for various reasons. There are literally millions of malicious code floating on the net and terabytes of it getting sent each day via automated bots and servers, whether it is in files, attachments or websites, exe installers or DDos attacks, so be careful where you download from. If you need good sound advice from DMI, well have a excellent antivirus like Avast which come with features like file vault for encrypting your files and built in VPN for safe browsing. Also have a good malware detecting software to add extra protection. If you require then a cloud storage is an excellent idea to have backups and also saves drive space. Now with that said we hope you may have considered some options in mind. We happy to say the website is running again so you welcome to check it out. Good day fellow computing friends, as promised, I will keep everybody up to date as much as possible because i believe in a good company that has a vision also has 1 key ingredient in mind is good communication with people and great consideration for customer needs. Well to answer that directly & short as possible, DMI is as you already know, is a computer new computer company.
