As we complete the first week of the South African ‘lockdown’ and reality sets in, we start to reflect on our situation and those around us. For most people receiving this email, we are in a position of relative comfort. Compared to millions of other South Africans we are lucky that we have what we have and can at least provide the basics for our immediate family. For this we can be thankful.
Many, living only kilometers away from us, are not as lucky. For them it is a struggle just to feed their families and to keep a roof over their heads. It is for these fellow human beings we at SnackPay would like to raise funds and help out during this pandemic.
On Friday 10 April we will pay over all the donations received to the foundation.
We also would like to encourage everyone to forward this email to family and friends who are not SnackPay users. They will be able to make a donation regardless if they are a SnackPay user or not.
