We have noted, with concern, severe weather warnings issued for Wednesday.
These are both heavy rainfall and winds of around 80kph.
We will ask that our customers will respect that we will NOT be venturing out in these circumstances.
The safety of our technical team on the road holds first priority

Good evening, folks

Firstly, Frank, Ross and I thank each and every of our loyal and special customers for your support this year.

We are winding up our 2024 services with a few essential calls on Monday, where we were awaiting spares.

Every year, we have serviced days like the 27th of December as well as New Years' eve.

We have taken a decision: this year we will close on Friday the 21st, and will reopen on January 6th.

We would like to take this opportunity to wish all of our customers a blessed and happy Christmas.
For those of our customers who may not be celebrating at this time, our wishes to you are for a peaceful time of rest.

Thank you to each and every customer, supplier and service provider who has contributed to being part of Proline Services being able to do the best we can, in 2024

It's that most wonderful time of the year, again (it really only seems like a few weeks ago we were doing Christmas 😳)
Every Festive Season, the Proline Services team work right through December except for the obvious Christmas and Boxing Day public holidays.
This year, there's a bit of a twist in how the days fall, and we've decided that we are going to take advantage of Friday, 27th, and take that off as well.
We thank all our customers, suppliers and service providers for all your support and assistance in 2024.
Wishing each and everyone a blessed and safe Christmas, and to our associates who don't necessarily celebrate Christmas, our wish to you is that you enjoy some much needed rest and down time.

Please note that our landline number had been discontinued.
With the phasing out of copper overhead cables by Telkom, we took the decision to cancel our landline.
As time has progressed, the activity on the landline has become all but redundant.

I've not updated for a while - and I'm about to remove all the spam posts!
NOTIFICATION!
With Telkom copper lines being discontinued, and the general redundancy that landlines have generally become, please be advised that our landline number will no longer be operational from 17/11/23 (always, of course, supposing that Telkom actually holds true in the cancellation)

Public message:

To all of our valued customers, we have had to review and take a hard stance regarding our business policy.
Going forward, we will need to take a deposit in order to secure spare part payments.
We trust that our regular and long standing customers know that these payments will immediately be used to pay over to suppliers for the spare parts needed.

We have often used our soft approach in trusting that we will be reimbursed - sadly, that isn't always the case.
Cash flow in a family owned small business isn't a great asset, so we sincerely trust that asking for deposits will be understood and respected

To all of our valued customers, we have, sadly, had the take the following decisions:

Callout charges will need to paid in cash or card (we have card facility). EFT will only be accepted if the transfer is done on attendance, and either confirmation of the transaction or proof of an immediate clearance

Any repair requiring spare parts: after a quote is accepted, we will need a deposit paid, to cover costs in ordering the part
Again, we can only place the order once funds are cleared.

We have had to institute these measures because, as a business, we can no longer use our capita to outlay on parts, then spend days, weeks, months and even years in trying to recoup costs

To all our customers, we apologise for delays in attending to call outs.
Our team took the precaution of self-isolating when mild but possible C-19 symptoms presented, and then the hectic weather conditions hit!
We will resume service as soon as it safe to do so.
