Proudly South African. Built for possibility. Powered by Mustek.

A homegrown brand with a big role to play in South Africa’s technology journey. That’s Mecer.

At PURCON 2026, Mustek and Mecer are connecting with the people shaping the future of higher education, sharing ideas and exploring how accessible technology can create more opportunities for institutions, educators and students.

With Mustek’s experience, distribution reach and technical support behind it, Mecer is about more than computers. It’s about empowering people, enabling progress and making technology work for the people who need it.
At PURCON? Come say hello at Stand C29!

Meet our team, discover Mecer and let’s talk about what we can build together.

Mustek takes it again! The trophy is coming home!

Two rounds. One seriously competitive Acer Padel Tournament.

And once again, the Mustek team showed up, battled it out and brought home the win!

Across August and October, four Mustek players took to the court representing our team, putting their skills, teamwork and competitive spirit to the test.

And now… we’re Grand Slam winners for the second time!

Plenty of rallies, plenty of laughs and a whole lot of Mustek spirit.

The trophy knows its way back to us!

Well played, Mustek rockstars!

A really interesting afternoon at the Huawei Innovation Centre, Building 8.

Today’s Xinghe AI Secure Campus Partner Round Table was small, intimate and very much about getting into the detail.

We spoke about connectivity, security, AI and what it takes to create smarter campus environments that are more secure, more efficient and potentially lower cost to operate.

One of the things that really stood out for me was the idea that great technology should almost disappear into the background. The Wi-Fi simply works. The network is secure. Eavesdropping and other threats are addressed at the infrastructure level. Spaces become more connected and intelligent without making life more complicated for the people using them.

That is the exciting part of the story.

We are moving from simply connecting devices to creating intelligent environments that can understand, protect and optimise the way people work, learn and connect.

Add good food, great conversation and a room full of people who actually want to talk technology, and you have a pretty good afternoon.

Thank you Huawei and all our partners for such an engaging session.

Featuring a 10-point touch display, wireless screen mirroring, Android 14 and a built-in battery, it is designed to move effortlessly between meeting rooms, training environments, customer engagement areas and collaborative workspaces.

Move. Rotate. Touch. One screen. Endless possibilities.

Happy Heritage Day from all of us at Mustek 🇿🇦

Today is about the things that make us who we are. The people, the stories, the food, the music, the languages, the places we come from and the traditions we carry with us.

At Mustek, we’re a pretty diverse bunch, and that’s part of what makes our Mecer tribe special. Different backgrounds, different stories, different personalities, all showing up every day and building something together.

So today, take a moment to celebrate where you come from, share a story, enjoy some good food, laugh with your people and maybe learn something new about someone sitting next to you.

Here’s to our beautiful South Africa and all the people who make it home.

Happy Heritage Day, Mustek!

GovTech 2026 felt like our kind of room.

People talking. Ideas flying around. Familiar faces stopping for a chat. New connections being made. A lot of questions, a lot of opinions and plenty of conversations that went beyond what was happening on the stage.

That is the part of these events we enjoy.

Because at Mustek, technology has always been the thing that brings us together, but people are what make it work.

Our partners. Our customers. Our suppliers. Our teams. The people who pick up the phone, find the answer, solve the problem, make the introduction, open the door and somehow get things moving when it looks like there is no way forward.

That is what being Built for Those Building means to us.

It is not a slogan on a wall.

It is the way people show up.

GovTech gave us a few days to step out of the everyday, listen, talk, challenge ideas and connect with people who are building the future of public sector technology in South Africa.

We came away with new conversations to continue, new ideas to explore and plenty of reasons to keep doing what we do.

That is Mustek.

People. Relationships. Technology. And getting things done.

Some tools just do the job. Others make you wonder how you ever worked without them.

Meet the Logitech MX Anywhere 3S.

It’s the little things that make a difference. Precise movement when you’re working across screens. Speed when you’re flying through a long document. Quiet clicks when you’re deep in the zone and everyone around you is trying to concentrate.

With 8K DPI tracking, the MX Anywhere 3S works across virtually any surface, even glass. Its MagSpeed wheel lets you scroll through up to 1,000 lines a second, while the compact design means you can pick it up and take your workspace with you.

That’s the MX Series idea in practice: precision, performance and mastery, all helping you stay in your flow.

Small enough to travel. Clever enough to keep up.

Security shouldn’t be an afterthought.

Too often, businesses only look at security once something breaks, slows down, or gets compromised.

But with Windows 11 Pro devices, protection starts at the device level – helping businesses stay ahead of modern threats while keeping their teams productive.

And with Windows 10 support having ended, this is more than just an upgrade conversation. It’s a business continuity conversation.

The question is no longer: “Can my current device still run?”

It’s: “Is my business still protected, productive, and ready for what’s next?”

At Mustek, we recommend Windows 11 Pro devices for businesses looking to modernise with security built in from the start.

Windows means business.

THE FIRST HUAWEI RUGBY DRAW WINNER IS IN!

Our first round of the Huawei World Cup Rugby Ticket Draw has officially wrapped up.

Congratulations to BlinkLogic CEO Bernardus Bouwer, whose company was selected in the draw. The two tickets were then allocated to Christoph Mans and his son, who got to experience the Springboks taking on the All Blacks live at FNB Stadium.

And what an experience it was.

The green and gold, the crowd, the noise, the excitement and that incredible feeling of being there when the Boks take on the All Blacks. Some things you just can't experience from the couch!

We were delighted to be able to give Christoph and his son the opportunity to enjoy the game together, with a Huawei hamper adding a little extra to the occasion.

Thank you to everyone who registered for the first round.

One draw down, more excitement to come!
