IT Technical Administrator/Engineer
We are looking for a qualified person (Diploma/Degree) with the following skill sets to be based at our jo’burg office.
• Microsoft
• Symantec
• Server Management
• Antivirus Management
• VMWARE
• Backup Management
• Asset Management
• Systems Administration
• Network Administration
• Project management knowledge (experience) is a plus
• Report Writing
• Should have good knowledge in IT and networking
Certifications:
- Microsoft Windows Server Active Directory Certified
- Microsoft Exchange Server certified
- Microsoft certified System Administrator
- VCP Certified
Responsibilities : -Customer-facing position that includes supporting, advising and resolving issues according to the customer SLA.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot workstation and server issues (e.g. operating systems (OSX, Windows, Linux, and IOS) computer peripherals, accessories, printers, tablets, mobile phones etc.)
• Proactively manage, track and resolve customer issues using our centralized ticketing system either remotely or onsite at the customer premise.
• Work closely with Sales Team to review end-user requirements and respond to customer enquiries.
• Troubleshoot, re-install and configure new and existing customer workstations.
• Take ownership of opportunities, problems and tasks.
• Technical Research and Analysis Proactively monitor and detect operational problems and recommend improvements to ensure optimal performance of our customer environments using the tools provided
• Problem Resolution - Proactively oversee the activities involved in quality resolution of complex technical issues, responding with an appropriate sense of urgency to problems escalated.
• Any other tasks deemed as appropriate by the Director of Technical Services
