Are you confident on the phone, driven by targets, and passionate about sales?
ASK Internet Technologies is looking for an energetic and motivated Telesales Agent to join our team. We’re looking for someone who knows how to start conversations, identify opportunities, build customer relationships, and turn leads into sales.
Key Responsibilities
As a Telesales Agent, you will be responsible for:
Making outbound sales calls to prospective and existing customers.
Generating new leads and identifying sales opportunities.
Following up with potential customers and nurturing leads through the sales process.
Upselling existing customers on additional services, package upgrades, and other relevant products.
Understanding customer needs and recommending suitable ASK Internet Technologies solutions.
Working towards individual and team sales targets.
Keeping accurate records of customer interactions, leads, follow-ups, and sales.
Providing professional, friendly, and efficient service during every customer interaction.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
1–2 years of sales experience, preferably in telesales, call centre sales, direct sales, or a similar customer-facing role.
Be fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English. Xhosa will be an added advantage.
Strong communication and telephone skills.
A confident, persuasive, and professional approach to sales.
The ability to build rapport quickly and handle objections effectively.
A strong target-driven mindset and the motivation to achieve results.
Good follow-up skills and attention to detail.
The ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
A positive attitude, resilience, and the determination to succeed.
Experience in the internet, telecommunications, ISP, or technology industry will be advantageous.
