What an incredible evening at our Johannesburg office! ✨

The night perfectly captured the spirit of DVT: driving innovation, exploring the future of AI in software development and connecting as a global team. 🌍

- The Big Picture: Our CEO, Jaco van der Merwe, shared an update on DVT’s direction, where we're heading and the exciting milestones on our horizon.
- BrightSparx Tech Talk: Our CTO, Saurabh Agrawal, delivered an eye-opening session on the future of AI Tokenomics, leaving the team with plenty of practical inspiration for working with tools like Claude.
- Rooftop Social: We wrapped up the night with great food, drinks and invaluable in-person catch-ups with colleagues flying in from across South Africa and the UK.

Today's BrightSparx session at DVT featured “Building a Product with Claude End-to-End” with Ebbie Swart and Stephan Swart 🚀

We got to see how AI can genuinely speed up the journey from idea to product, and had a great discussion around how our ways of building are starting to shift in real time.

Our teams in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Kenya recently got together for an in-person staff communications session with CEO Jaco van der Merwe.

These sessions are always a great opportunity to share updates, talk about where the business is heading, and connect with colleagues across our regions.

The evening ended on a lighter note with a quiz night where teams could put their general knowledge to the test. Safe to say the competitive spirit was alive and well!

In Joburg, the quiz was hosted by stand-up comedian Jax Justice, which made the competition even more entertaining.
