DVT’s Joburg team swapped their desks for a self-defence class yesterday, led by Ultimate Martial Arts & Fitness. 🥋🔫

The session gave staff an opportunity to get moving while learning practical self-defence techniques and building confidence.

It also formed part of DVT’s Mandela Month Exercise Challenge, which aims to raise R30,000 for charity through 60,000 minutes of exercise during July.

📢 We’re hiring a Flow Master to support DVT’s Build Teams.

This role is suited to an experienced Scrum Master, Agile Coach or Agile Delivery Lead who understands how to keep work moving when software, tests and documentation are produced at speed.

You’ll help teams:
• Manage flow and remove blockers
• Improve specifications, reviews and decision-making
• Maintain quality and governance throughout delivery
• Facilitate stand-ups, planning sessions, reviews and retrospectives
• Continuously improve the delivery process

Experience in AI-assisted software delivery and Kanban is highly recommended.

Mandela Day may have been on Saturday, but the DVT team is continuing its efforts throughout Mandela Month. 💙

Our annual staff exercise challenge brings colleagues together to get active while raising funds for charity. With 15 days remaining, the team has already:

🏃 Travelled 2,443 km
⏱️ Logged 29,085 minutes of exercise
❤️ Raised R14,540 towards our R30,000 goal

From walking and running to cycling, gym sessions and fitness classes, every activity brings us closer to our targets of 60,000 minutes and R30,000.

Well done to everyone taking part. Let’s keep moving and make the final 15 days count!

One walk. One team. One purpose. 💙

As part of our Mandela Day initiatives, our Johannesburg and Cape Town teams came together today to kick off our Mandela Month Exercise Challenge with a lunchtime walk.

For every minute of exercise our team logs throughout the challenge, DVT will donate towards charity. Every step, stretch, cycle, swim or workout brings us one minute closer to making a meaningful impact.

This is only the beginning. 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️
