LiMusiCo is a vehicle to assist budding musicians, technicians, venue owners, and various stakeholders i

n the industry. The main purpose is to promote sustainability in the live event scene and continuity; to bridge the gap of the technology and information divide in our society between urban areas, rural areas, privileged, and unprivileged. LiMusiCo is a music conference that exists exclusively to cater for the primary players of the live music industry. The conference seeks to demystify the live music industry and the music industry in general for the normal affiliate on the ground that is trying to break into the music industry and earn a living doing what they are passionate about. Sustainability in the arts is the bulls-eye for the Live Music Conference 2022. The contributors in the live music industry should be able to make a decent living in their chosen profession. All the stakeholders involved in the creation and delivery of the art should be able to get a decent and sizable piece of the pie; and this is exactly what LiMusiCo will be confronting head on. The Live Music Conference aims to share, exchange and construct know-how on the live music industry. We seek to empower a new generation of emerging players and professionals in the live music industry. This way LiMusiCo develops and sustains a network of pioneers for the future. Capacity building and sustainability are at the conference’s core. LiMusiCo considers live music the essence of entertainment throughout the world and a major contributor to economies worldwide. Starting from this conviction subjects such as: quality presentation, remuneration, social impact and community engagement are some of the topics on the agenda of the conference. The intensive conference brings together top notch industry professionals from around the country. LiMusiCo invites renowned and experienced industry experts from essential organisations and professionals that started from nothing and have gone to achieve great milestones in the live music industry. LiMusiCo includes lectures, workshops, dialogues, debates, performance outings, and a close-off concert all addressing and contributing to the live music industry.
