I have vast experience in digital strategy, digital policy, digital applications, digital web design, digital billing solutions, digital data analytics and digital marketing which has benefited many organisations. I believe that by deriving data from one’s business, this can be synchronised with marketing activities providing real-time information and strategic intent pertaining to companies. Using and working with CRM software and data analytics provides both an internal and external analysis and provides greater insight into specific areas of business allowing one to assess where improvements need to be made or where the biggest value is. I have been invited to speak on big data and the Fourth Industrial Revolution at a few high-level conferences and ICT platforms, Smart Cities and Smart Villages, to improve service delivery and enhance citizen life. In South Africa our large metros are fast moving towards becoming Smart Cities. This is the Fourth Industrial Revolution where data is the new GOLD. Smart Cities and Smart Villages are becoming a critical necessity, if ever the time was right for South Africa to implement the basic foundations to become Smart Ready - now is the time.
