Announcement:

We’ve added an enterprise knowledge base to for Qlik Gateway.

Brief:

App and space context, scripts, documentation, extensions, workflows, write-back patterns and agent skills can now be organised as working knowledge, from enterprise standards down to a user’s permitted context.

Context:

The Gateway now keeps the work behind a Qlik estate in one managed knowledge base: scripts, rules, documents, templates, extensions, workflow and write-back definitions, alerts & notifications, collaborations, custom portals plus agent instructions and skills.

Qlik-linked gateway spaces connect that material to spaces and apps; permitted load scripts provide read-only context. Permissions and Qlik rights determine what each user and their agent can see.

Existing material, including binary assets, can be brought into Git/LFS-backed working copies. Changes are made against exact versions, with reservations and conflict checks so agents don’t quietly overwrite each other’s work. The method behind an app can survive a handover instead of living in one specialist’s mind.

When the agent moves from understanding to doing, separate Gateway capability routes govern the permitted Qlik work and actions (Admin, Engineering, Insights). The knowledge base supplies context; it does not grant authority on its own.

The dashboard can look healthy while the OAuth token expired, the source account changed, the DSN is visible only to a developer, the producer task is disabled or half the reload chain never ran.

Freshness is not one green tick.
