AG Mobile has been in the mobile hardware space since 1994. In that time the business has observed the practices of cell phone manufacturers, encountered a wide array of complex situations and gained in depth comprehension into cellular hardware, which ultimately culminated in the establishment of our own cellular brand in 2007. That opportunity provided us with the platform to convert our extensi

ve experience into a competitive advantage when operating in the mobile phone manufacturing space. Since 1 August 2007 we have created products that are able to compete with established market leaders such as Nokia, Samsung and LG to name but a few. AG Mobile has succeeded in penetrating a highly competitive market and has thus far put ±500 000 AG handsets into the hands of South African consumers. With international and national distribution partners such as Edcon, Game, Jumbo, Sefcash, CellShack and Foschini our numbers are rapidly increasing with growth at around 100% over the past four months, with this number expected to increase even further. In addition to this, we have observed an obvious trend of brand recognition, heightened consumer interest and high growth potential. At AG Mobile we are passionate about two things-our products and the African market, and it is these two factors that drive our business. Innovation and keeping up to date with modern trends are at the forefront of all we do. It is also these priorities that enable us to supply our market with quality products equipped with the latest technology at affordable prices. What began as a passion has resulted in becoming our competitive edge in such a saturated industry. Our primary focus is the African consumer and in keeping focused we have succeeded in creating products that speak directly to the needs and wants of those consumers. Our cellular telephones are endorsed by local celebrities in order to appeal to the aspirational element in all our consumers. Furthermore we have carefully chosen the celebrities who endorse our products as they are respectable and reputable brand ambassadors. In addition to this, they attract our trendy, brand conscious consumers who are also interested in and up to date with modern technology. All our models are ICASA approved
