We have recently formed a Digital Marketing division providing customers with sustainable strategies for online means. Last time we spoke about all the weird and wonderful things we're asking AI. 🤖

But here's the question businesses should probably be asking:
What information are our employees giving it? Because that's where businesses need to pay attention.

🔵 Microsoft 365 Copilot

When used through your organisation's Microsoft 365 environment, Copilot works within Microsoft's enterprise data protection framework.

It respects the permissions users already have within Microsoft 365, and prompts, responses and Microsoft Graph data aren't used to train foundation models.

🟢 ChatGPT

ChatGPT Business and Enterprise are designed for organisational use, and business data isn't used to train OpenAI's models by default.

Consumer ChatGPT accounts are different: depending on the user's Data Controls, conversations may be used to improve models, although users can opt out.

So perhaps the real conversation isn't:

"Copilot or ChatGPT?"
It's:
"Does your business have a policy for how employees use AI?"

AI isn't going anywhere.

While we were all together, the conversation turned to AI and how people in different industries are using it to make their work a little easier.

We've found the weak link! 💥

When we talk about cybersecurity, people often think of firewalls, antivirus, and sophisticated security tools.

But one of the biggest risks to any business still comes down to something much simpler: password habits.

Using the same password across multiple accounts, sharing login details, or choosing convenience over security can expose businesses to unnecessary risk.

A few simple habits can make a significant difference:
✔ Use unique, multi character passwords for important accounts
✔ Enable Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) wherever possible
✔ Avoid sharing accounts between users
✔ Use a password manager to securely store credentials
✔ Remove access promptly when staff leave the business

The strongest security tools in the world can't protect a password that's been reused ten times.

Another network installation completed ✔️

We recently deployed a structured network solution designed to deliver fast, stable, and reliable connectivity across the client’s workspace.

This Job Included:
1 x Network Point for MFP
3 x Ubuquit Access points
1 x 9U Network Cabinet
1x 8 Port POE Switch
1 x Patch Panel
1 x Brush Panel

To future-proof the environment, all access points were adopted into our controller, allowing for remote monitoring, management, and proactive support. Ensuring the network stays optimized without disruption to the client.

While the client’s fibre installation is still in progress, we implemented a temporary fixed LTE solution to keep the business fully operational in the interim.

Because good IT isn’t just about installation, it’s about keeping your business connected at every stage.
