Yes, there is racism, there is plenty of nepotism, and there is a lot of favoritism, briberies, and other unfavorable conditions. All that is true and it won't stop today and you won't be the last victim. My advice is that, as bad as the situation is, keep preparing yourself for that one opportunity to prove yourself. If you are in academics, get that degree. If any trade, keep practicing, keep improving your trade, and learn beyond industry requirements. In case you are an athlete, keep practicing, and be the greatest while waiting for that one breakthrough. Let the opportunity find you ready and prepared.- Telling myself through you.
