In print media four colours are used to obtain the desired artwork, Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Key. If you are wondering what Key represents it is indeed the colour black, hence the name “Black is key media”. Ironic as it may seem, in our ever expanding digital world, we here at BIK HQ understand the importance of digital representation and the significance of being unique. We pride ourselves in creating original ideas and obtaining a professional image in a flooded market.

Ligne Roset South Africa. Website design and development.

Some projects ask you to build a brand. This one asked us to honour one. Ligne Roset is a French design house with icons like the Togo in its catalogue, and a global identity that doesn't bend for anyone.

The brief for the South African showroom was restraint. Let the furniture speak, keep the typography quiet and give the photography room. When the product is this considered, the website's job is to get out of the way beautifully.

The strategic decision was the conversion model. No cart, no checkout. Furniture at this level is bought in person, so every path on the site leads to one action: booking a private showroom viewing in Kramerville. Product pages inform, the site converts to a conversation.

Nexify IT Solutions. Brand identity.

Most IT companies default to the same visual language. Blue, a swoosh, a globe. The brief here was to build something that feels established and current without falling into that pattern.

The mark is built from the N, constructed as layered signal lines. It speaks to data in motion and systems working together, but it holds up as a simple geometric form even if you never read the metaphor. That matters. A mark should work before it's explained.

Charcoal carries the weight and credibility. The teal does the differentiation. It's a palette that sits comfortably next to corporate clients while still standing out in a feed or a pitch deck.

"How much does a website cost?" is a fair question, so here's an honest answer with real ranges for the South African market, what moves the price and why the cheapest quote is usually the most expensive one. Full breakdown at our blog. www.foursixty.studio

Floor Seventeen. Website design and development.

Events agencies sell energy and ex*****on, but most events websites do neither. Endless galleries, no personality and no clear next step for the client who's ready to book.

Floor Seventeen came to us as a full turnkey events and activations agency working with brands like Blue Label and Bundesliga. The site needed to carry the confidence of that client list while sounding like the team actually sounds. Bold, warm and slightly obsessed with the details.

So the copy leads with attitude and the structure leads with proof. Voice driven headlines up top, then the case for trust built in layers. Services broken into four clear offers, real client logos, real testimonials and recent work with photography that shows scale.

Every section moves toward one action. The enquiry form asks which service you need, so leads arrive qualified before the first call.

Bud Co. Brand identity

Cannabis retail in South Africa has two default looks. Clinical and medical, or the same leaf iconography on every second storefront. Bud Co needed neither. The brand had to feel legitimate and welcoming.

The answer was retro script lettering with a sticker weight outline. It borrows from streetwear and classic signage, which gives the store warmth and personality while still reading as an established brand rather than a side hustle.

The detail that carries it is the divider. A hand rolled joint sits between Bud and Co, it says exactly what the store is without a single cannabis leaf in sight.

Built to work hard in one colour. Signage, stickers, merch, packaging.
