We at Water Ledger Global have the bragging rights of being amongst the first to tokenise water for the purpose of asserting water rights and establishing mechanisms to exchange the underpinning of water assets such as water quality credits, water mitigation credits and nutrient credits for example.

In South Africa, our eutrophication rates now reportedly way above 75% necessitate the need to have a carrot and stick approach to curb the incessant pollution as crisis levels. By incentivising polluters to reduce their loads and exchange them in voluntary exchange systems, we should be able to reduce the pollution loads whilst the decade plus long physical asset improvements take place. The IWR will find these 5IR digital tools easy to use.

So, at the lekker age of 64, I now have an agent, they approached methriugh a goid friend's referral, to commercialise my public speaking that has grown exponentially in SA due to the unfolding catastrophic collapse of water security that many of us pointed out since 2002. It's not all doom and gloom as we can inject several trillion Rands into a broken economy in the impending restitution program.
