It is Lady Fhulufhelo's hour, the CCNA certified Queen to be celebrated come the 5th of September๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐ŸŽ“๐Ÿฅณ

Fhulufhelo Mavhungu is a senior network controller at Eskom transmission (Telecommunication). Originally, she is from Limpopo at a small village called Vhufuli. She completed her matric at Mbilwi secondary school before moving to Durban university of technology where she completed her diploma in Electrical Engineering.
Her career started at Siemens in Durban where she worked as a transmission planner. She then moved to Telkom at the National network operation centre (NNOC) where she worked under network fault management. While working in Telkom she decided to continue with her studies and managed to complete her BTECH in Electrical Engineering from the University of South Africa and a BSc (hons) degree in Engineering and Technology Management from the University of Pretoria.
She believes that continuous improvement is what one must strive for because we learn new things every day and we must be well versed within our respective professions. With that in mind, she realized that she is working in a technological environment where technology changes every day, and one needs to be skilled enough to be able to adapt with such changes.
She took an interest in networking and was fortunate enough when a friend introduced her to a group advocating for women empowerment within the IT/networking environment called Women Tech Connection (WTC) championed by Cisco. Through their support she managed to become a Cisco Certified Network Associate which is a first step towards a career in networking. She is now working at a network management centre in Eskom where IP skills are a necessity, and she is now pushing towards becoming a Cisco Certified network Professional.

Aaand the last but not least by any measure CCNA Queen is Thalukanyo๐Ÿฅณ๐Ÿฅณ๐Ÿฅณ

Thalukanyo Ramashau is an IT graduate at Makwa IT Technologies, her journey started in September 2021 when she joined the Makwa team as a learner doing System Support NQF L5, with the dream of becoming a security engineer. The learnership ended August 2022 and they absorbed her team to becoming interns. This is when she learned how to configure CUCM, 9600 switch, firewalls and routers. When this year started they were preparing to write their CCNA, but she did not get it on first try and guess what, she didn't give up and tried for the second time on 19th March, lo and behold she bagged it then. She is now permanent at Makwa IT and doing Internal IT and also assisting the Academy Instructor by assigning the learners with assessments and helping them prepare for their CCNA exam.

And who is better than a soldier with experience in helping those trying out their CCNA, that's right is HER! A good round of applause for out very own lady Thalukanyo ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘
