Apparently, quite a lot!

When elevators were first introduced, people complained they were too slow. But the real problem wasn't the speed; it was being stuck in a small, uncomfortable metal box.

So they added mirrors.

Suddenly, people had something to look at, the space felt bigger, and the wait didn't seem so bad.

The lesson for marketing?
