Flash is not always the best solution for a dark photograph.

Before switching it on, tap the main subject on your screen and gently increase the exposure. Moving closer to a window or another soft light source can also produce a more natural-looking result.

A small adjustment to the available light can make a big difference.

A photograph can look perfectly clear on a small phone screen but become blurry when printed or enlarged.

For the best result, send us the original, full-size image whenever possible. Avoid screenshots, heavily cropped versions and photographs downloaded from social media.
