Baby Hake on the Braai - truly South African

Keep the fish whole, with the skin on, otherwise it will simply fall apart on the grid. Add a bunch of herbs such as rosemary, thyme and lavender to the coals as you braai; the flavours will pe*****te the fish. And remember the golden rule to brush both fish and grid with oil to prevent sticking. As the flavour of hake is gentle, serve with a zippy sauce.
