Applicants with NATIONAL DIPLOMAS will no longer be considered for PGCE (from 2026 onwards) also Nated courses (N4/N5...) cannot be used to apply for PGCE

General requirements for PGCE are:

1. bachelor's degree (360/480 credits) with 2 high school subject related modules studied up to second/third level (depending on what you choose as majors)

OR

2. Diploma (Google the difference between diploma & national diploma) with 2 high School related modules studied up to second/third level

If you hold a bachelor's degree or diploma without 2 high School related modules studied up to second or third level, visit UNISA in person to enquire about NDPs (NB: NDPs cannot be applied for online)
