Five years ago today, Speedprint was looted.
A day I'll never forget.
I remember standing in disbelief, looking at the destruction and wondering, "Lord... where do I go from here?"
I had only recently taken over Speedprint, after my many years being employed . I was full of dreams, excitement, and hope for the future. And in just a few moments it had been stolen away.
It was heartbreaking, overwhelming, and one of the biggest tests of my faith.
But God...
He never promised I wouldn't face storms, but He did promise that I would never face them alone.
When fear tried to consume me, He reminded me:
"So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."
— Isaiah 41:10
When I felt like I had nothing left, He became my strength.
"The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in Him, and He helps me."
— Psalm 28:7
It took eight long months to rebuild Speedprint. Eight months of uncertainty, hard work, prayer, and trusting God one day at a time.
And even after rebuilding, the challenges didn't stop. Moving, financial pressures, unexpected setbacks, and many other obstacles tested me again and again. There were times I felt weary and questioned how much more I could take.
But every single time, God proved Himself faithful.
When I wondered if what had been lost would ever be restored, I held onto His promise:
"I will restore to you the years that the locusts have eaten."
— Joel 2:25
Looking back over these last five years, I don't just see the day my store was looted. I see every prayer God answered, every door He opened, every person He placed in my path, and every moment He carried me when I didn't have the strength to carry myself.
The enemy may have attacked my business, but he could never steal God's purpose for my life.
Today, my testimony isn't about what was taken from me.
It's about the God who never left me.
To every customer who has supported Speedprint, every friend and family member who prayed for me, and everyone who encouraged me through these last five years—thank you. Your support has meant more than you'll ever know, and I truly believe God used you to help carry me through.
Five years later...
I'm still here.
Still trusting. Still believing. Still standing.
Because my story was never defined by what I lost. It is defined by the God who has sustained me, strengthened me, and continues to restore me.
"To God be all the glory." ❤️🙏
