Today, the Khanya Africa team had the privilege of supporting and witnessing one of South Africa’s most inspiring events, the Comrades Marathon, famously known as The Ultimate Human Race.

What a remarkable celebration of determination, resilience, unity, and the human spirit! Seeing thousands of runners push beyond their limits while being cheered on by communities along the route was truly heartwarming.

The Comrades Marathon is more than just a race. It promotes healthy lifestyles, encourages perseverance, brings communities together, boosts local economies, and creates opportunities for social connection and volunteerism. It reminds us that with dedication and support, extraordinary achievements are possible.

A huge thank you to all the runners, supporters, volunteers, organizers, and our amazing Khanya Africa team members who contributed to making today such a memorable experience.

🌍 Mandela Day 2025 – Creating Spaces of Joy, Safety & Growth 🇿🇦

This Mandela Day, Khanya Africa Networks proudly visited Siyajabula Children’s Home, where we spent the day not just giving back but making a meaningful difference in the lives of children.

🎠 We donated a Jungle Gym to encourage active play, improve physical skills, boost creativity, and promote social development essential elements for every child’s growth and well-being.

🪟 We also installed curtain rails and beautiful curtains in their classrooms and bedrooms, enhancing both privacy and comfort. Curtains help regulate light, reduce noise, and provide a sense of security and warmth vital for young minds in nurturing environments.

🍲 While some of our team played games and bonded with the children, others lovingly prepared lunch and handed out fun-filled goodie bags a gesture of care and celebration.

We had so much fun and were left inspired by the resilience and joy of the Siyajabula children. 💛 Thank you for opening your hearts and home to us.

Let’s continue to live Madiba’s legacy by creating safe, empowering spaces for all children to thrive.

Job Advertisement: CCTV Control Room Operator

Position: CCTV Control Room Operator

Job Summary: Khanya Africa Networks is looking for a responsible and detail-oriented CCTV Control Room Operator to join our security team in Kloof, Upper Highway. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and operating CCTV systems to ensure the safety and security of our premises and assets. If you are highly observant, calm under pressure, and have a strong understanding of security systems, we want you to apply!

Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and operate CCTV systems to identify potential security risks and ensure a secure environment.
Respond quickly to security incidents and escalate matters as necessary.
Record and log all activity observed during shifts for future reference.
Ensure all CCTV equipment is in proper working condition and report any issues.
Communicate effectively with security teams to manage any arising concerns.
Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism at all times.

Requirements:
Matriculation (Grade 12) or equivalent.
PSIRA certification (Security Officer accreditation).
Computer literate with proficiency in operating CCTV and security software.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Previous experience in a security control room or similar role will be advantageous.
