Working in IT is tougher then people think.

For every action the end user will see there are a whole host of other activities that must be accomplished in order to make that seen activity seem effortless. What the end user does not see: Continous education, continous communications, reading, research, practice, trial and error, personal motivation and fear. The fear comes in when the next move they make will destroy everything they have worked for including their job and their reputation.

Growing IT consultancy is seeking a receptionist to join the team in Forest Hills.

Responsibilities:

Greet and welcome guests arriving at the office
Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office
Answer, screen, log and forward incoming phone calls
Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable
Manage stationary and office supplies
Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries
Maintain office security by controlling access via reception
Update calendars and schedule meetings
Arrange travel and accommodations
Book vehicle services, maintenance & washes
Keep updated staff time sheets & track annual leave, sick leave etc
Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, scanning, transcribing etc

Requirements:

Matric with English & Mathematics
Proven work experience as a Receptionist or similar
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. printers, scanners)
Professional attitude and appearance
Solid written and verbal communication skills in English
Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
Excellent organisational skills
Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
Customer service attitude

IT Helpdesk Technician required to join a growing team, based in Kloof. Position answers to the operations manager. Salary negotiable based on skillset and experience.

Position involves handling first-line support calls and providing telephonic and remote support to end users.

Hours: 8AM to 5PM, Monday to Friday.
Option to work from 7AM to 4PM.
Required to be on call between 5PM and 9PM one week in every four.

Skillsets required:

Microsoft Desktop OS - Windows XP, 7, 8, 10
MacOS, iOS, and Android
Microsoft Server OS - Windows Svr 2008, 2012, 2016
Microsoft Exchange - all versions
Microsoft Office - all versions
Microsoft Office 365 administration
CPanel administration
Basic understanding of virtualisation principles
Understanding of the OSI model
Working knowledge of MikroTik Router OS advantageous
Working knowledge of VMware vSphere advantageous
Working knowledge of Microsoft Hyper-V advantageous
Working knowledge of IP PBX platforms advantageous

Must be able to communicate effectively, in English.
Must be able to follow procedure, and document accordingly.
