Meta AI glasses can help people who are blind or partially sighted interact more independently with the world around them. Using hands-free voice assistance, the glasses can describe surroundings, read certain text, identify objects and connect users with visual-assistance services such as Be My Eyes, where available.
African Technopreneurs, working with the South African National Council for the Blind (SANCB), is helping make this technology more accessible to South Africa’s blind and low-vision community.
Use the discount code SANCB at 180by2 to receive R750 off the purchase of any Meta AI smart glasses.
African Technopreneurs will be available at the Sensory Solutions table at the Retina SA AGM showcasing this revolutionary technology.
