Azure Data & Analytics Architect
• 10 – 15 years of experience in data engineering and data management with
3+ years of experience in role of Solution Architect and delivering Data &
Analytics projects on Azure
• Hands-on experience with AZURE ecosystem (ADLS, Databricks, Delta Lake,
Azure Data Factory, Event Hub, Azure DevOps etc.
• Evaluate and Build Proof of Concepts (POC) to understand/demonstrate
Azure Analytics component, i.e. Data Factory, Event Hub, Azure Stream
Analytics etc.
• Knowledge of Snowflake will be an added advantage
• Experience in distributed data frameworks, Hadoop and related architectures
(Hive, Spark, Presto, EMR)
• Hands-on experience in designing and managing data lakes, data
warehouses and data marts.
• A strong background and exposure to at-least two different type of
databases, i.e relational (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL), NoSQL (e.g.
Cassandra, MongoDB) database systems.
• A high level of technical literacy to understand the current system and skill to
determine the overall cloud service fitment to that system.
• Exposure to modern development approaches (containerization, micro-
services, CICD)
• Good understanding of real-time (e.g. Kafka) and batch data processing
frameworks, DAG schedulers (Airflow, Luigi, etc)
• Hands on Data Ingress, Egress, Processing using Kafka or DataBricks

• Configuration and support of Source/Target Integration with Azure Data
Factory. Manage and configure Azure component integration with Azure Data
Factory i.e Event Hub, ADLS, Blob Storage
• Prepare, Maintain and document best practice & standards covering data
architecture, data security, performance & scalability of infrastructure etc.
• Manage & configure secured, trusted and scalable real-time data ingestion
service using Azure Event Hubs
• Contribution to Pre-Sales activities including the following:

o Lead solution responses & discussions on Azure for client opportunities
o Be able to assess tools and platforms to provide “Best of Breed” and
“Best of Suite” solutions
o Provide Data Management technical solutions for Azure Cloud within
agreed timeframes
o Create and confidently deliver succinct technical presentations
internally and externally.
o Create internal design configuration documentation including data
flow/network diagrams with technical explanations. Sell technical
solutions to the customer with professionalism and enthusiasm
o Work with delivery team to provide a high-level estimation. Have
knowledge about different estimation technique. Ability to provide
technical solution and estimation with limited information

SQ 1 Consulting operates in the telecommunication industry, we are an entrepreneurial business that is ramping up for new projects, we have recently secured contracts for site upgrades and site maintenance and we are in need of a Financial Manager that will track, report and analyze the financial elements of projects, with the aim of producing management accounts.

Job Description

As a Financial Manager you will be responsible for management accounts of the business. The primary operations of the business are project based and therefore project accounting knowledge and experience is mandatory for the role; specifics include but not limited to
• Balance Sheet Reconciliations
• Income statement preparations
• Preparing Journals
• Reporting and Reconciliations
• Preparation of management accounting
• Monitoring and investigating variances of project revenue and costs
• Approving expenses
• Ensuring billing is up to date
• Producing project accounts and reports.

• 10+ years post qualification experience
• With 2 of those years in a Project accounting role
