RF Design was established in 1988 as a supplier of RF / Microwave components with an office in Cape Town, South Africa. We have since grown to represent a balanced portfolio of the world’s premier Wireless Data Communications, RF /Microwave component and Sub-systems manufacturing companies with branches in all the major commercial centres of Gauteng, Cape Town and Durban with a staff compliment of

about 30 employees presently. As the nature of our business has moved towards commercial applications in recent years, we have endeavoured to strengthen our product lines in the areas of Wireless Communications, Mobile Data Transmission and Telemetry applications with the range of our product offering extending from component level, through OEM modules to complete sub-systems, working closely with our system integration partners, assuring them of success. RF Design is focusing on customer driven solutions, with the highest priority on value added technical support, reflected in the fact that we have many qualified Sales Engineers to provide superior technical support on our product ranges has achieved excellent results by cultivating and sustaining long-term relationships with all our business partners. The New Taoglas WLA.05 is a compact ceramic substrate SMD loop antenna designed for use in 2.4 GHz systems such as Bluetooth®, Wi-Fi®, BLE, WLAN, THREAD and ZigBee®. It is designed to be utilized on devices with small ground planes, and due to the miniature footprint size of just 1.6 x 0.8 mm, it can be used in devices where larger antennas do not fit. It is delivered on tape and reel for ease of integration through pick and place machines.
