🌧️🌿 RAINY DAYS = ADMIN DAYS! 💻🌱

These wonderful rainy days have given us a chance to slow down, catch up, and get some important administration done behind the scenes at the Garden Route Botanical Garden. 💚

Here we have our three Rangers — Ranger Tereese, Ranger Anele and Ranger Kyra — busy planning, preparing and updating our Environmental Education registers and records. 📋💻

And, of course, we’re making wonderful use of the computer equipment generously donated to us by of the Deep, and their ReWild Tech initiative. Tools make such a difference, and this computer is now being put to good use helping us manage and coordinate the Environmental Education programme at the Botanical Garden.

So while the rain does its important work outside, we’re getting our work done inside! 🌧️🌱💻

Thank you once again to Guardians of the Deep and NatureTech for helping to make our work a little easier — and a lot more efficient! 💚

A huge thank you to Guardians of the Deep NPC and Tenacity Computing for donating a new desktop computer to Sea Search!

More desktop computers mean we can run more programs for longer without relying on personal laptops or on students with access to technology. With so much data sitting on our servers, having wired-in computers makes a real difference when analysing data such as acoustic recordings and sorting through photo ID data, saving us from tying up personal laptops or pulling large data files over Wi-Fi

Thank you for helping us do more with our data! 🐬💻
