I am putting this out there as a public service announcement. If you know me, you know I hate conmen and people who lie for a living. This post is as received from a friend of mine:
"I would really like to make this man Facebook famous! I would also like to warn people about doing business with him! I paid him for built-in cupboards on 27 June, 2023, but until now, two months later, there has been no delivery of cupboards and he has simply lied and lied. He took my money, but as yet no purchases have been made of materials – something of which he is well aware. It is blatant theft! He even had the cheek to hassle me regarding my payments to him that had taken time to "clear" and to tell me that he had ordered these fictitious materials at his own expense, clearly trying to "guilt" me for not getting funds to him faster.
Be warned, therefore, about Frans Potgieter. This guy conducts shady business, claiming to be a carpenter/cabinetmaker, but in actuality simply steals from would-be clients in the areas of Brackenfell, Bellville, and Durbanville.
If there are others that have fallen victim to this man, get in touch with me (Mariska Korff) so that we can stand together and put an end to these practices. This man stole hard earned money from me that was paid amid huge personal sacrifices!"
