Interworks Connectivity Solutions, based in Durbanville, is a licensed business & home ISP, specialising in VoIP, wireless and fibre solutions.

We are currently seeking the employment of an installer/1st line ISP support person.

Job description:
- Perform fixed wireless installations at customer sites (lay network cables, install rooftop radios, basic router setup)
- Perform onsite troubleshooting of existing wireless/fibre installations
- Perform highsite installations/maintenance in conjunction with facilities manager
- Assist with 1st line telephonic/email support for wireless and fibre customers
- Perform cloud based PBX system installation and troubleshooting

Requirements:
- Valid driver's license
- Should not have a fear of heights (be able to work on rooftops & climb towers)
- Experience with installing network cabling and wireless antennas/radios
- Understanding of fixed wireless
- General networking and internet knowledge
- Good communication skills (written and verbal)

Working hours:
- Weekdays 08:00 - 17:00
- Customer support via telephone/email one weekend per month (Saturday 08:00-12:00, Sunday 09:00-12:00)

Advantageous:
- Previous experience in the ISP/WISP installation & support field (Hugely beneficial!)
- N+, MTCNA, CCNA certification
- Experience with routing & firewalling
- Server installation/maintenance experience (Windows & Linux)
- Experience in VoIP systems (3CX, FreePBX)
- Electrical knowledge
- Bilingual in English and Afrikaans

A market related salary, based on previous experience, will be provided.
