HYPER was conceived as an ambitious indoor entertainment universe designed for a new generation of experience seekers.
The vision was to move beyond the traditional karting venue and create a scalable entertainment brand centred around adrenaline, technology and social connection. The concept combined multiple experiences, karting, bowling, virtual golf, arcade gaming, dining and social spaces, under one bold, future-focused identity.
The brand language draws inspiration from motorsport, esports, athletic culture and immersive entertainment. Neon lime accents, dramatic black environments, lightning motifs and energetic typography create a visual system that feels fast, youthful and premium while remaining flexible enough to grow across multiple experiences and touchpoints.
This document explores how HYPER could come to life across architecture, interiors, wayfinding, merchandise, digital platforms, advertising and environmental graphics. Every element was designed around one central idea:
More Than A Day Out. It's An Adventure.
Although the project was ultimately not realised after an extensive development process, it remains an exciting conceptual exploration of what the future of indoor entertainment branding could look like—a place where people don't simply visit a venue, but enter a world built for play, competition and connection.
In the end, I was advised that the direction did not align with the client's expectations and I was unfortunately taken off the project. Naturally, this was disappointing, as I genuinely believed the concept had strong potential and could have evolved into something special. But that's the nature of the creative industry: sometimes you win, and sometimes you learn.
If you're curious to see the direction eventually taken by the next creative team, you can view the final realised brand here:
