Your next Windows PC could organise your day for you. Here's how Microsoft plans to keep that safe 🤖

AI agents don't just answer questions. Give one a goal, like "organise my schedule for today", and it works out the steps: reading your emails, updating your calendar, sorting files and setting up meetings.

Microsoft's answer to keeping that safe is Microsoft Ex*****on Containers (MXC), available in Windows 11 now:
🔒 Each agent works in its own sandbox, limited to approved data and websites
🧰 Rules control how it behaves and which tools it can use
✅ Already supported by OpenAI Codex, GitHub Copilot and LM Studio, with more on the way

Full rundown of the new RTX Spark laptops and Windows changes on our blog tomorrow.

Would you let an AI agent work on your PC? 👍 Yes / 😮 Not a chance

⌨️ Smooth, bumpy or clicky? There's no universal winning switch — just a feel you enjoy using.

Linear gives you a smooth press with no deliberate bump or click. Tactile adds a noticeable bump without a deliberate click. Clicky gives you both, so think about who shares your space. 😄

Magnetic is sensing technology, not a separate feel category. Many magnetic switches feel linear. Adjustable actuation and rapid trigger depend on the board and its features.

Optical is also sensing technology, not a feel category. Stem movement changes the light reaching a sensor. This example registers when the beam is blocked; other designs register when light passes through.

Remember: linear isn't automatically silent, and you don't have to bottom out to register a press.

What switches are you using — and would you choose them again? 👇
