There is no doubt that a new website or branding is an investment.

Investing in your business is one of the best ways to see growth, therefore it shouldn’t be something you shy away from. In order to see high returns in your business, you have to invest in it.

How much to invest depends entirely of the stage of your business and its financial circumstance.

If you want to get the most out of your investment, focus on your brand identity and building your brand, instead of focusing on only selling your products or services.

If you are a new business, a good benchmark is to spend no more than 5-15% of your turnover/budget on branding.

If your business is already up and running, our advice is to spend 2-4% of your annual revenue on branding/marketing.

Remember, your brand speaks for itself.

Your brand is more than just what you have to offer to the customers or the benefits that may come with it. Your brand is who YOU ARE. Therefor, creating a strong brand identity that supports what your business have to offer will give your potential clients validation of who they are dealing with.

Starting your own brand can be intimidating and daunting, but in order to know where you're going, you need to be clear on the following;
Who are you?
What is your passion?
What is it that you want your brand to represent?

Brand discovery is really about what you stand for and what your vision is for the future.

1. HAVE A FOCUS
Decide what your key message is and
stick to it. The more focused your brand
is, the easier it will be for people to
remember who you are.

2. BE GENUINE
Be authentic and genuine. It will make it
so much easier to manage you personal
brand on a daily basis.

3. BE CONSISTENT
Ensure that your personal brand stays
consistent, both online and offline.
Consistency is key.

4. CREATE A POSITIVE IMPACT
Keeping a positive attitude and helping
others will only help healthily grow your
brand in the long run.
