Description
An excellent opportunity to join a dynamic Managed Services Provider in London as we look for the services of a Support Engineer with at least 5 years' experience deploying and supporting Microsoft Client/Server and Cloud environments. The ideal
candidate will have a solid understanding of IPnetworking, possess extensive experience with Windows 10, Microsoft 365 incl.
Exchange and Teams, be competent and efficient with Remote & Deskside support and show high level proficiency in their general
troubleshooting capabilities.
Requirements:
You will need to demonstrate experience in Configuration and Troubleshooting the
following technologies:
• Microsoft AAD and traditional Active Directory
• Microsoft Windows Desktop and Server
• IPNetworking and LAN technologies
• Microsoft Exchange implementations
We will consider the following as exceptionally desirable skills:
• VMware vSphere and View
• MS Teams, Polycom, other voice products
• SAN technologies (EMC & HP) with an understanding of Fibre & iSCSI
• Sound understanding of networking installation & administration (Cisco, HP, etc.,)
• Backup technologies (Acronis, Veeam etc.)
• Microsoft SQLServer
Your core skills should include:
• Independent decision-making abilities
• Sound interpersonal relations and liaison skills
• Ability to function well under pressure
• The ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization internally and externally
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Planning and organizing skills
• Manage and maintain a sound client relationship
• Responding to support requests over the phone and e-mail
• Writing and maintaining network documentation and support materials
To be considered for the role, you must have:
• Strong client-facing IT support experience, including knowledge of Windows OS
troubleshooting
• Microsoft Modern Workplace support experience incl. Exchange Online, Outlook and Teams
• Microsoft Azure support experience including AAD and lntune
• Have a good understanding of backup and recovery systems and technologies
• Strong understanding of how to operate an ITSM tool.
• Instinctively adapt and respond positively to changes in business requirements.
• You must follow up issues with clients and the ensure end results are to the client's
• Additionally, you will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong
problem-solving abilities,
Benefits
The following applies to this role:

• Salary will range from 180k up to a maximum of 240k ZAR per annum (depending upon your skills and experience).
